Dylan T. Taylor will discuss the direct and indirect relationships that savannahs, prairies and dense forests have with native species of fungi. (In person/online)
The Midwest is a vastly diverse landscape of savannahs, prairies, and dense forests. Every single plant in these ecosystems has a direct or indirect relationship with native species of fungi. In this presentation, Dylan T. Taylor, the President and Founder of Northern Mycology Club in Chicago, will explore these relationships and discuss their impacts on preserving the natural world.
Dylan T. Taylor is the President, amateur Mycologist, writer, community scientist and advocate of sharing knowledge freely.
The public is invited to the monthly meetings of the Lake-to-Prairie chapter of the Wild Ones, a national not-for-profit organization that promotes the use of native plants in landscapes.
Registration is required.
