Educator Yvonne Liu Wolf introduces the rites, activities, symbols, and foods of this festive occasion and explores ways to celebrate as we prepare for the Year of the Tiger. (In person/online)
The Lunar New Year season lasts from January 31 to February 15, 2022, and is observed by 20% of the world's population, yet many are unfamiliar with how it is celebrated.
Educator Yvonne Liu Wolf will tell us about the Chinese lunar calendar that has been used by many East Asian countries.
This presentation will introduce some of the rites, activities, symbols, and foods associated with this festive occasion and how you can participate in your own home. Whether it is your first time celebrating this cross-cultural festival or part of your annual routine, join us as we prepare for the Year of the Tiger.
