Index of the Mundelein Review - 2005 In 1999, Fremont Public Library started microfilming two weekly newspapers, the Mundelein Review and the Mundelein News. In the interests of making the microfilm more useful, an indexing project was started. Staff members and volunteers are working on this project. We started with the Review. This index covers general news stories, editorials, letters to the editor and recipes. We do not index the police blotter, property transfer records, sports scores, calendar items (such as annoucements of club meetings), or ads. Obituaries, births, engagements, weddings and anniversaries are indexed separately For these items, please go to our Local Newspapers - Vital Records section. Note:We do not index calendar items, sports scores, the police blotter, legal notices, property transfer lists or ads. Note: Confusingly, the New Homes section is dated the day before the rest of the newspaper. On the microfilm, the New Homes section follows the main newspaper. Other special pull-out sections will also appear on the microfilm after the main body of the newspaper. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ACCIDENTS Bike crash kills Mundelein man (Wayne Brown); 9 Jun 2005, p. 12 Five hurt in collision; 16 Jun 2005, p. 14 No leads yet in hit and run; 30 Jun 2005, p. 11 Seminarians on leave after fatal crash (Robert Spaulding, Mark Rowlands); 22 Sep 2005, p. 5 Body of missing man found (Justin Daubs, Fox Lake IL); 20 Oct 2005, p. 152 Seminarians indicted in crash (St. Mary of the Lake Seminary); 27 Oct 2005, p. 12 Crash Tuesday closes Midlothian Road; 10 Nov 2005, p. 14 [no title] (memorial for Jason Gembra annd Israel Bueno, photo); 17 Nov 2005, p. 1 Students mourn loss of friends (Israel Bueno, Jason Gembra); 17 Nov 2005, p. 5 Services to be held today for Joseph Flynn, 19; 1 Dec 2005, p. 5 Police await more test results in fatal car crash; 8 Dec 2005, p. 5 Local man remembers train ride (Ed Abderholden); 8 Dec 2005, p. 9 Fremont student dies in tragic accident (Brennan Ammentorp); 22 Dec 2005, p. 5 ADLAI STEVENSON HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 125 Art festival shows students' best; 12 May 2005, p. 10 Juggling club hosts annual Toss Up; 19 May 2005, p. 26 Class of 2005; 9 Jun 2005, p. 9 SHS graduates named; 4 Aug 2005, p. 21 Most SHS grads bound for college; 18 Aug 2005, p. 28 SHS's first athletic director dies, 85 (Kelly Cox); 25 Aug 2005, p. 14 Above average scores on PSAE; 25 Aug 2005, p. 32 Students receive commendation (Allison Nichols, Brittany Saltiel, Sarah Siegel); 8 Sep 2005, p. 30 Homecoming parade Saturday; 15 Sep 2005, p. 160 Grad requirements change; 29 Sep 2005, p. 149 SHS discusses violence; 20 Oct 2005, p. 164 Guys and Dolls chance of a lifetime; 8 Dec 2005, p. 19 Give-a-Thon just keeps on giveing; 15 Dec 2005, p. 188 Students funnel school supplies to Afghanistan; 22 Dec 2005, p. 22 ADLER PLANETARIUM (museum, Chicago IL) Moonlit night graces Adler's Celestial Ball; 10 Nov 2005, p.
