Our Roller Coaster is Finished!!

Teens attending our April FIT (Fremont's Impressive Teens) program worked on cutting out and constructing parts for a cardstock roller coaster.  We got as far as assembling the base, then ran out of time.  Eighth-grader Erik C. volunteered to take the parts home to work on...and recently brought in the finished roller coaster, including three marbles that roll down twists and turns to the bottom.  Thank you, Erik!!

Come in to the Teen Zone at the library to try it out!

where to turn

We're shifting books in the Teen Zone to make it a little easier for our books to breathe.  Ask a librarian if you can't find what you're looking for.

Don't forget our "Where to Turn" bookmarks on the wooden display: they highlight resources to help with problems you may encounter.  Take a look!

Our New Books cart is filled with the latest in YA fiction.  Nearby is a new display of the 2015 Abraham Lincoln Award nominees (the 2014 winner is John Green's The Fault in our Stars).

The next "Take It and Make It" craft for teens will be available on April 1.  Quantities are limited, so don't delay!  The next Games & Pizza program is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Our Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate program is scheduled for Friday, Feburary 21, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.  We'll have chocolate fondue (dipping sweets into warm chocolate) and then play Hershey's Kisses Bingo!  Join us for good food and fun.  (For teens in Grades 7-12).
