A Wi-Fi hotspot is a device that allows you to connect your computers and smartphones to the Internet anywhere you have 4G network coverage: at home, on the bus, in the park, or on vacation. Our hotspots are covered by Sprint's mobile network--check their coverage map to see where you can go.
The library has 10 hotspots acquired through TechSoup's Mobile Beacon donation program for nonprofits. Checkout is for one week and is limited to Fremont Library cardholders. Each hotspot can connect up to 10 devices to the internet (phones, computers, tablets, etc.). Hotspots cannot be renewed.
You can place a hold on a hotspot using our catalog, or by calling the library at 847-918-3225.
